One of the pros of travel that any smart traveler can have is the ability of capturing a moment, a feeling, and what is better is the ability of capturing a culture. You can do all that properly yourself if you learnt few things about travel photography. Travel Photography has its own appeal and glamour as it manages to reflect the happiness or laughter of random people walking in the streets of foreign countries. Travel Photography also frames the beauty and excellence of architecture and buildings that attract the eyes of tourists. Above all, Travel Photography has proven that human souls can be healed only by looking at Mother Nature, amazing landscapes, and marveling at mountains, rivers, sky, or the photos of them. All those photos that reflect human feelings, nature beauty, diverse cultures, a smell of a place, and a memory of time can be derived from travel photography.
Threw away the travel guide, get lost, wander around, and enjoy. Do not limit yourself by famous places, and touristic attractions. Explore the city you want to photograph to have the privilege of finding unique places and make people explore it through your lens. In strange places, you will find yourself wanting to explore more, see more, know more information about new places and photographing them from different angles. Try to merge with locals, not tourists like you. Go to local places, use buses, subways, trains, and trams where you will find groups of natives, listen to their talk, just observe, and shoot. It is even better to interact with them, and ask if you can take their pictures. You might get lucky with a photo of spontaneous smile, a beautiful dress, or a quiet person sitting in his chair with a phone or a book in his hands.

He was one of Hollywood's hottest properties in the 1960s. The star of such hits as "The Magnificent Seven," "The Great Escape," "Bullitt" and "The Thomas Crown Affair," Steve McQueen's graceful machismo and laconic air earned him the sobriquet "The King of Cool." He favored playing antiheroes -- and, off-screen, racing cars.
His desire to produce the "ultimate racing movie" -- a feature-length film depicting the 24-hour endurance race in Le Mans, France -- would prove to be professionally torturous for McQueen, who was at a pivotal point in his career. Disillusioned by the film business, he sought to make his own films through his production company, Solar. For "Le Mans" he brought on veteran director John Sturges.
A foot injury kept McQueen (who'd just finished second at the 12 Hours of Sebring race) from competing in the 1970 Le Mans, which his film crew covered documentary-style (camera cars kept pace with the true competitors). After the checkered flag fell, the film crew stayed in Le Mans to shoot the film proper, putting cars through their paces for six months. A mythical-sounding million feet of film was purportedly shot.
It might have helped had there been a script. Nervous studio executives pressured McQueen for a story, any story. The actor and his favored screenwriter, Alan Trustman, parted ways. After six weeks, Sturges himself quit in frustration. An accident cost driver David Piper his leg. And through it all, McQueen pushed for authenticity before the cameras while also facing crises in his personal life.

San Francisco, officially the City and County of San Francisco, is the cultural, commercial, and financial center of Northern California. The only consolidated city-county in California, San Francisco encompasses a land area of about 46.9 square miles (121 km2) on the northern end of the San Francisco Peninsula, giving it a density of about 18,187 people per square mile (7,022 people per km2). It is the most densely settled large city (population greater than 200,000) in the state of California and the second-most densely populated major city in the United States after New York City.
San Francisco is the fourth-most populous city in California, after Los Angeles, San Diego and San Jose, and the 14th-most populous city in the United States—with a Census-estimated 2014 population of 852,469. The city and its surrounding areas are known as the San Francisco Bay Area, which is a part of the larger OMB designated San Jose-San Francisco-Oakland combined statistical area, the fifth most populous in the nation with an estimated population of 8.6 million.
The answer is paper of course. For all of you out there who think it is plastic or absentmindedly answer the nice bag boy/girl at the checkout “oh plastic is fine,” have you ever tried to compost a plastic bag?
Or do you know the half-life of a plastic bag once it enters a landfill? Or better yet, are you aware that according to numerous environmental authorities, over 60 percent of what we put into a landfill is either compostable or recyclable? No worries, out of sight out of mind, right? Now consider it takes over 400 years for one plastic bag just to breakdown into smaller pieces—smaller pieces, not decomposing. Multiply that by how many plastic bags you have shoved into another larger plastic bag, which you have been meaning to recycle, but generally leave under the sink. Now you have a problem.
The solution is paper bags. Remember the days when we were all tree huggers and crusaded to save our precious forests, forsaking the paper bag, because plastic was cheaper and recyclable? Guess what? Paper recycles itself naturally and is a sustainable resource, unlike a plastic bag. But even better, the best way to prevent the use of any bags is to reuse old ones and bring your own. We use the paper bags from the store as our garbage bags in the house. Again, they decompose quicker and allow for the trash inside doing the same.
If you want to go even further, and you should, composting is the next step. It’s not a crazy new concept. (Your grandparents were most likely doing it before you thought it was vogue and trendy). It is the number one way to reduce the amount of trash you throw out, by over 50 percent. Every piece of organic material, from table scrapes, the undesirable bits and pieces from fruits and vegetables, paper, dog poo, yard waste, you name it, can go to the compost pile, opposed to the trash. Even urban composting is available, made possible by small self-contained units. But if you have the space, yard composting is easy.
