There’s going to be a point within your relationship that you decide things would be better if you got even closer, literally. Let’s face you, you start to realize that you and your significant other really become an ‘item’ once you spot that u-haul coming up to your “old” houses’ driveway. But things will get messy, you have a lot of stuff and possibly less room once you get there, so how will you manage to organize your things with them?

You might want your clothing and personal items not to be so mixed with each others because although you want to have a connection with everything you still need a place to put your stuff and theirs be in a different place. If there is limited closet space, save up for drawers and only hang essentials. Grab a bunch of cute boxes and even throw in a side table for each side of the bed (or shelves) to help place your things in individual cubbies.

No one likes them, it’s true, but you shouldn’t have one person only contribute to them all the time. Make a mini schedule- state on one day this person cleans and cooks and that the other person can vacuum and organize the bedroom. This system is very basic (and can even seem a bit childish) but you need to coordinate with your significant other so one doesn’t just become the part time maid.
